Prerequisites

Installation and configuration

Add the tap-lastfm extractor to your project using

meltano add
```

meltano add extractor tap-lastfm

Configure the tap-lastfm settings using

meltano config

meltano config tap-lastfm set --interactive

Test that extractor settings are valid using

meltano config

The usernames of users to fetch scrobble data for

User Agent (user_agent)

Environment variable: TAP_LASTFM_USER_AGENT

Passed to the API to identify the tool requesting data

Start Date (start_date)

Environment variable: TAP_LASTFM_START_DATE

Determines how much historical data will be extracted. Please be aware that the larger the time period and amount of data, the longer the initial extraction can be expected to take.

Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-lastfm set start_date [value]

Step Days (step_days)

Environment variable: TAP_LASTFM_STEP_DAYS

The number of days to scan through before emitting state

Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

Stream Maps (stream_maps)

Environment variable: TAP_LASTFM_STREAM_MAPS

Config object for stream maps capability.
