Prerequisites

If you haven't already, follow the initial steps of the Getting Started guide:

  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the tap-purecloud extractor to your project using
    meltano add
    :
  2. meltano add extractor tap-purecloud
  3. Configure the tap-purecloud settings using
    meltano config
    :
  4. meltano config tap-purecloud set --interactive
  5. Test that extractor settings are valid using
    meltano config
    :
  6. meltano config tap-purecloud test

Client ID (client_id)

  • Environment variable: TAP_PURECLOUD_CLIENT_ID

Your API client ID for authentication.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-purecloud set client_id [value]

Client Secret (client_secret)

  • Environment variable: TAP_PURECLOUD_CLIENT_SECRET

Your API Client secret for authentication.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-purecloud set client_secret [value]

Domain (domain)

  • Environment variable: TAP_PURECLOUD_DOMAIN

Your API domain. The string to add following "https://api." in API requests.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-purecloud set domain [value]

Schedule Lookahead Weeks (schedule_lookahead_weeks)

  • Environment variable: TAP_PURECLOUD_SCHEDULE_LOOKAHEAD_WEEKS
  • Default Value: 5

The amount of weeks to extend beyond the current date in order to generate the end_date parameter for syncing data.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-purecloud set schedule_lookahead_weeks [value]

Start Date (start_date)

  • Environment variable: TAP_PURECLOUD_START_DATE

Determines how much historical data will be extracted. Please be aware that the larger the time period and amount of data, the longer the initial extraction can be expected to take.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-purecloud set start_date [value]
