Solarvista Live is a Field Service Management platform to manage, plan, and mobilise your engineers.

The tap-solarvista extractor pulls data from Solarvista Live that can then be sent to a destination using a loader.

Getting Started


If you haven't already, follow the initial steps of the Getting Started guide:

  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the tap-solarvista extractor to your project using
    meltano add
  2. meltano add extractor tap-solarvista
  3. Configure the tap-solarvista settings using
    meltano config
  4. meltano config tap-solarvista set --interactive
  5. Test that extractor settings are valid using
    meltano config
  6. meltano config tap-solarvista test

Datasources (datasources)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SOLARVISTA_DATASOURCES

The Datasources to sync from Solarvista. Leave list blank to use the default list of Datasources.

Account (account)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SOLARVISTA_ACCOUNT

The AccountId for your Solarvista account.

Client ID (clientId)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SOLARVISTA_CLIENTID

Your Solarvista Client ID to create your access token and credentials.

Authorization Code (code)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SOLARVISTA_CODE

Your API authorization code retrieved using your account id, client id, and access token.

Start Date (start_date)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SOLARVISTA_START_DATE

Determines how much historical data will be extracted. Please be aware that the larger the time period and amount of data, the longer the initial extraction can be expected to take.
