Installation and configuration

Add the tap-twitter extractor to your project using

meltano add
```

Configure the tap-twitter settings using

meltano config

meltano config tap-twitter set --interactive

Test that extractor settings are valid using

meltano config

meltano config tap-twitter test

Bearer Token (bearer_token)

The bearer token to authenticate against the Twitter API using the OAuth 2.0 flow outlined here - https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/authentication/oauth-2-0/application-only

Start Date (start_date)

Environment variable: TAP_TWITTER_START_DATE

The earliest record date to sync

Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-twitter set start_date [value]

URL Patterns (url_patterns)

Environment variable: TAP_TWITTER_URL_PATTERNS

List of URL patterns for which to fetch tweets

Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-twitter set url_patterns [value]

User IDs (user_ids)

Environment variable: TAP_TWITTER_USER_IDS

List of user IDs of Twitter accounts for which to fetch data

Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-twitter set user_ids [value]
