Getting Started

Prerequisites

If you haven't already, follow the initial steps of the Getting Started guide:

  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the target-singer-jsonl loader to your project using
    meltano add
    :
  2. meltano add loader target-singer-jsonl
  3. Configure the target-singer-jsonl settings using
    meltano config
    :
  4. meltano config target-singer-jsonl set --interactive

Destination (destination)

  • Environment variable: TARGET_SINGER_JSONL_DESTINATION
  • Default Value: local

The destination configuration to use. Currently local and s3 are supported.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config target-singer-jsonl set destination [value]

Add Record Metadata (add_record_metadata)

  • Environment variable: TARGET_SINGER_JSONL_ADD_RECORD_METADATA
  • Default Value: true

Whether to inject _sdc_* metadata columns.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config target-singer-jsonl set add_record_metadata [value]

Folder (local.folder)

  • Environment variable: TARGET_SINGER_JSONL_LOCAL_FOLDER

Output folder to write .singer.gz stream files to.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config target-singer-jsonl set local folder [value]

Bucket (s3.bucket)

  • Environment variable: TARGET_SINGER_JSONL_S3_BUCKET

S3 bucket name.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config target-singer-jsonl set s3 bucket [value]

Prefix (s3.prefix)

  • Environment variable: TARGET_SINGER_JSONL_S3_PREFIX

S3 key prefix to write .singer.gz stream files under.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config target-singer-jsonl set s3 prefix [value]
