  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the tap-shopify extractor to your project using
    meltano add
    :
  2. meltano add extractor tap-shopify --variant matatika
  3. Configure the tap-shopify settings using
    meltano config
    :
  4. meltano config tap-shopify set --interactive
  5. Test that extractor settings are valid using
    meltano config
    :
  6. meltano config tap-shopify test

Access Token (access_token)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SHOPIFY_ACCESS_TOKEN

Your access token to authenticate with the Shopify API.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-shopify set access_token [value]

Store (store)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SHOPIFY_STORE

Your Shopify store id, use the prefix of your admin url. e.g. https://[store].myshopify.com/admin.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-shopify set store [value]

Admin URL (admin_url)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SHOPIFY_ADMIN_URL

Optional - The full admin url for your Shopify store (overrides 'store' property).


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-shopify set admin_url [value]

Start Date (start_date)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SHOPIFY_START_DATE

Optional - Start date to sync from.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-shopify set start_date [value]

Is Plus Account (is_plus_account)

  • Environment variable: TAP_SHOPIFY_IS_PLUS_ACCOUNT

Optional - Enable Shopify plus account end points.


Configure this setting directly using the following Meltano command:

meltano config tap-shopify set is_plus_account [value]
